Half goes to the anglers with the single biggest bass and single biggest fish other than a bass, ray skate or shark. The other half goes to the KFACA to help represent kayak angling interests during implementation of the California Marine Life Protection Act along our coastline. In the unlikely event that you don't know about the Kayak Fishing Association of California (KFACA) or the series of Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) coming soon to southern California, please visit the website at www.kfaca.org for more information. 1. Human powered craft only - no motors. 2. You must choose which one of the jackpots you want to fish when checking in. You can enter both jackpots but must antie up $20. for each entry and your weigh-in submissions must fit the description for each respective jackpot. 3. DFG regulations apply to all participants. 4. Check-in and launch is from 6:00am to 7:00am. Anyone launching after 7:00am can find us out on the water. 5. Weigh-in is at Noon. You must be back at the launch site and ready to weigh your single big fish by 12:00pm sharp in order to win. The total entries for each respective pool will be distributed as follows: 50% to the person with the largest fish caught for that jackpot and 50% to the Kayak Fishing Association of California (KFACA).
